As a professional decorative artist, IÂ have painted with broken color work effects, stencil work, faux painting and created murals for homes and for public buildings.

PAINTINGS
My paintings reflect every day images that are imbued with symbolism. The window series plays with light and the visceral effect of the paint itself.  The window image conveys the idea that windows connect us to memories of the past and open futures yet to come.

TEACHING
I have had the honor to teach participants of all ages, 4 - 95. As the Education Director at ArtsConnect, I enjoyed partnering with the faculty to teach participants and to mentor the teachers. As a university instructor, I have had the privilege to guide preservice educators through their licensure classes.
